Don’t use TOR for Google Search If you want. It only stopped working on the Win 10 computer. Alternatively, you can click on the New Identity option (click the onion button before the address bar) to the same without closing the Tor browser. One is Win 7 and other is still running Vista. Note: Tor Browser works fine on 2 other computers running same Internet Security on Same Network. Searched similar problems and could not find a fix for my problem.
I uninstalled it and tried re-installing the latest version but I still keep getting the same "Tor unexpectedly exited" message with No Tor Log.ĭisabling Internet Security software did Not work. Tor was working fine and then one day I tried using it and all I got was the "Tor unexpectedly exited" message. It will Not Restart and there is no Tor Log to copy to Clipboard. Pressing the "Restart Tor" button I get the "Waiting for Tor to start." message, and then it goes back to the "Tor unexpectedly exited" message again. When clicking the "Start Tor Browser" icon all I get is the "Tor unexpectedly exited" message. You can also test to see if this is the case by visiting the official Tor website, as most networks blocking Tor access will also block access to their site.(Windows 10 Home, 64-Bit Operating System, 圆4-based processor) Check with your network administrator or, if you are the admin, check your network settings to see if access to the tor network is blocked. Check network admin settings: It is possible that your network admin is blocking Tor access.Switching it back on will re-enable Tor functionality and generate a fresh Tor directory. I am experiencing the same issue myself, I was doing a Google search to see if I could find a solution. Doing this will disable Tor and delete the (current) Tor directory on your machine.
